Yes, I think it is. Make sure the tense is all the same (e.g. most is present tense but then "as ducks bathed in the nearby pond" is past). I don't think you really need to explain the woods in more detail (as someone suggested) because it is not about the woods, it is about Elizabeth being comforted by the woods. It's about her emotion. If it is the scents and sounds that are comforting her, than explain those (like you've already done).. but if it is everything about the woods, or what she is seeing, then yeah you should add more about what she is experiencing visually.
