Good, serious writers who are passionate about writing and are looking to critique other's work a well as have their own critiqued. I keep trying to find people to start a writing group with, but no one is ever serious about it.

Check out www.meetup.com This is NOT a singles or dating site, it is a genuine site for people with shared interests to "meet up" in your area. It will tell you specifically if there are any writing clubs/groups, not only in NJ, but in specific cities of NJ. If you are a teen, please make sure your parents OK you meeting with these people and talking to them online. (Always very important, just in case. :) Want to keep you safe!) This site was also featured on GMA (Good Morning America) several months ago so if your parents want to know anything about it, they can check it out on GMA's site. I hope this helps! Also, check with your school or the local YMCA to see if there are any such clubs. If there are none to be found, consider putting together one of your own from a list of friends and acquaintances from your school, church, neighborhood, etc.. You can also decide if you want to create a group thru the meetup site too. Again, make sure your parents know who you are meeting with and where. Good luck!
