I'd incorporate some art by Alex Grey. It really suggests the "third eye" mindset without being so obvious or dis-tasteful. What about some great quotes printed in large format by some great thinkers? (C. Jung, Descartes, Desiderius Erasmus, Albert Pike, etc.)
