Help with creative writing????Faust feedback? We Answered:
Uhhh sorry, but i am very confused. Is this a piece of a story you wrote or am i reading an excerpt from a book already published?
Well its well written, but it does sort of bore me because it just goes on and on babbling about unimportant things, but it is like i mentioned before, well written. In other words, the writing wasn't basic nor too dull.
Sorry i can't help much, im just very confused.

Hey guys - some support? - and what do you think about writing programs? We Answered:
I'm afraid your friend sounds rather arrogant. Why would she think everyone wants to know about her writing? I don't even know any successful authors who feel the need to do that. You also almost certainly need to sit down and think hard about the difference between good school writing (which is full of "look at all the long words I know" vocabulary use) and good pro-type writing, where the very best writing has vocabulary which is completely invisible.
And I would take "could get published" from your teacher with a pinch of salt, unless he or she is actually a published writer. "Writes brilliantly for an 8th grader" generally has a HUGE void separating it from "writes brilliantly for an adult who's been practicing for a couple of decades", and the latter is what you need to be publication standard.
If you don't want to go to a creative writing class, then don't. Most pro writers didn't go on summer programs at 14. Heck, plenty of them didn't even study English at college.
Just write. And read. And write. An awful lot of people can talk the talk, but aren't very good at walking the walk. Going on courses is talking the talk.
A novel and a half, all rough first drafts, and you're 14? You're doing fine.

freelance writing n earning through blogs? We Answered:
You have a great skill and you should join this affiliate site http://www.net-detective.co.uk I have been a member affiliate for them for six years and earn about $1500 - $1900.00 average a month.I also write a blog about the sites by creatively writing a story about each category. for example there is a category on background search and so i wrote a little story on how two twins were separated after being put in a foster home and using links i created referred them to my affiliate site and the people who were doing a background search ended up joining and this also made me some money.
You can write about hundreds of stuff, and oh the twins they reunited after using net-detective.co.uk so guess who makes the money? Moi!
The best thing about it all is that it is completely free

Creative writing and blogging?We Answered:
Speak of the devil, I just started a blog (and I swear I'm not trying to promote it... honestly) but I'm struggling with the same questions. The reason I blog is basically to get other people's input on my thoughts. If you make it about something interesting or that other people are into (cooking or writing or art) then yeah, it's a great way to discuss your ideas with a sort of broader range of people. The thing is, you could keep blogs private to you or your friends, but that to me defeats the purpose of a blog. Not everyone's a stalker and if you really just needed your friend/family's input, you could ask them in person or through any other communication we have today.
It's also like a journal in the sense that, it's a way for you to get your thoughts organized in a way that you can express it to other people, which is always a good practice.
I've googled how to get mine popular myself and gotten some generic but sensible answers:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Blogging-Tips---…
But, based on my own experience and the blog(s) I've visited and why I like them, I'd say one way is to establish yourself on some other website where you can easily get attention (even here if you're really desperate or rather) like on youtube or something. Make a video and then if people see your videos, also post a link to your blog there??? Not a great way, I guess but it's something. Get popular somewhere else because blogs can be otherwise obscure; not many people will google your username or even your blog name unless it's really clever, so you should spread the word starting somewhere else.
For instance *shrugs nonchalantly* ... here's mine
http://dream-parapet.livejournal.com/
(So yes I did subsequently promote my own blog but you get the idea and you also asked if people would share their blogs)... I'm a newb and don't have any comments (yet) but I hope this helps (off to try out my own advice).

In the meantime, while I'm @ home, searching for jobs, would it be wise for me to do creative writing? We Answered:
First and foremost, you need a way to support yourself and keep the lights on. A lot of professional writers do so on the side because what they make is not enough to live on.Maybe you can do secretarial work from home, or proofreading, or find work of some kind that allows you to earn a living while keeping your dignity, and giving you the time to write, without having to depend on selling everything you write just to survive.
I wish you the best of luck, and hope this helps.
