I'm a little biased, but I think my school, Duquesne University in Pittsburgh PA might interest you. :) Their website www.duq.edu has pictures of the campus and they definatly offer art and creative writing. Its located in downtown Pittsburgh, but is still kind of secluded, so it doesnt always seem like your in the middle of the city. Its on the bluff of a river, so you can get some pretty views from up there. The campus has all kinds of landscaping, fountains, and lighting that are very pretty. Other parts have beautiful views of downtown. Two of my close friends are in creative writing and digital media arts and they love Duquesne.

You can teach creative writing in some community colleges with just a Bachelor's degree. I did this while I was doing free-lance writing, writing for newspapers and magazines.

I've seen creative writing majors working for state and large private businesses in departments that required a lot of writing. You can also do technical writing, which pays very well. I've worked for a while as a writing mentor at a state University and a person with a degree in creative writing could be hired as well although the job was primarily helping students do research papers.

It seemed to me there was a big demand for people who know how to write. What areas of creative writing do you really like and wish you could get paid to do? If it's something like poetry, you could go commercial as writing for a greeting card company, or you could have a primary job that pays the bills, even something like teaching, and then write poetry in your spare time.

Law can be very creative if you find the right niche. Finding the niche is the first part of the creativity. Law is one of the few fields outside the arts which allows a person to be creative every day. Building a legal case is a zenith of intellectual creativity.
