Business Letters writing?

We Answered:

There are some good books out there that you can buy to give you ideas about how to formulate your own letter writing, and some websites offer free templates also. See if either of these two types of resources can help you along, and you might also consider asking someone to help you by reading one every once in a while.

A letter writer should exercise both legal and ethical responsibility when writing business letters? true?

We Answered:

In "Business" a letter can be a legal document depending upon its contents or it can be used for instructions or demands or for explanation. All these areas are very important and in effect, the truth must be used in all cases. Ethical responsibility is extremely important in dealings with others; either individuals or businesses. It is the code to which you sign your name or do your deeds, etc. You cannot offer terms which you know your management wil not agree to just to get a client; you cannot lie about prices and then raise them later on to cement a deal; you cannot go beyond contractual terms and conditions set forth.

Illegal activities whether in deed or writings can get you jailed; unethical behavior can get you blackballed from an industry or fired from your job or both. If you get paid for something you are ethically bound to provide the service agreed upon as well as legally. If you are not honest, ethical and trustworthy in business, your business will fail. Therefore, you cannot exaggerate terms and conditions, lie about what will happen or products involved both in quality and volume.

In "Business" if you lose the "GoodWill" of your customers or if your business loses its reputation, you will soon fail.

So, in answer to your question, yes it is true and I have given you examples of ethical and legal responsibilities.

Writing business letters?

"Sorry for the inconvenience" sounds a bit formal, it's o.k. if it's for a co-worker or a business-related incident that is mild, where they are inconvenienced.

For a friend, you would probably want to do something a bit more personal.
