My suggested changes are below (some are minor word changes so read carefully)

I am a sophomore majoring in Political Science and currently enrolled in your Technical Communications 3363 course. My expectation for this particular class is to gain advanced technical writing skills and problem solving skills in writing form.

As defined in the class syllabus, two of the outcomes of this Technical Communications course are to “master technical writing forms” and “use problem solving and systems thinking to inform writing.” I plan to accomplish both of these goals, as well as the rest before the semester ends. While attending San Jacinto Community College in 2009, I successfully completed several English courses, including English Composition 1 and 2, which provided me with good writing skills.

After completing my studies, I am planning to work as a foreign affairs officer for the U.S. Department of State. One of the duties of that position is to have good technical writing skills and problem solving skills in order to write good and consistent memos to provide accurate information to US consulates on visa policy changes. Another duty is to resolve issues that might rise in the process of evaluating applications for visas and passports from the public. I hope your course will provide me with the skills necessary to be successful in my chosen field.

Your biggest problem is getting visas for all the countries that you mentioned. All 1st world countries require visas and they are very difficult to obtain. You need to prove economic solvency and somehow convince them that you are only going to visit and that you will not stay there and work.

Of those, I'd go with the name Whelan Consulting. I'm assuming it is your last name or the locality. None of the other options even hints at what you do so I see little reason for them. Just my opinion.

You need to set out in detail not only what you will get out (personally) from your venture but also what your short, medium & long term aims are.

You will also need to do a cash flow forecast and a profit & loss forecast.
