I hope you already have your business idea. If you don't, it sounds like you have the cart in front of the horse.

The best way to get a loan is to have your business already created and actually selling some service or product. If you can show there is demand for what you are providing, and you are able to make a modest profit at it, you are much more likely to get a loan. You can then tailor your business plan / loan application to show how investing in certain equipment, space, workers, etc... will allow you to grow the business more and make larger profits.

In this market, no one is going to loan you money, unless you have already proven experience making money running this type of business.

I'm writing a book about a man who gets released from a correctional facility for drunk and disorderly charges after 30 days of being harassed daily by a guard. He goes home only to find that his girl friend has apparently ran off with another man. He then tracks them down and kills them, and sets up the guard so it seems as though he killed them and committed suicide. When he finds out that the man with his girl was actually helping her pick out an engagement ring for the the couple, he turns himself in. He is sent to a maximum security prison, and finds the guard in a prison cell across from him. His cell mate then informs him that the guard's twin brother, a high ranking member of a white supremest group had been the man killed, and now he has to help his cellie escape so that he can track down the murderer, who just happens to be himself.

I think that your plot is pretty good. It would probably be best if you made sure to put emphasis on everything he is risking, and what the killed officers' families is going is going through after they are killed. I hope you plan on making it a depressing ending, as there are too many stories that have an ending that is supposed to be tragic, but are actually just boring.
Also, if there are any other main characters, try alternating view points.
Such as
Ex POW (Main Character)
Government officials making the tax decisions
Ex POW (Main Character)
etc

and at the end, have a frenzy of alternating view points between all of the characters involved to make it dramatic and so the reader can see the the emotion of all the characters they have grown interested in get shot down and die one by one in almost a poetic formation.

Hot damn, yes, I'd definitely read that if I had the chance. Seems like you got your poop in a group, nothing sticks out to me. It's pretty depressing, yeah, but reading through here it's a bit like a roller coaster - will he work everything out, or won't he?

So, he's got the love for firearms while he's still in the army, yeah? I'm assuming that he does. I can definitely see it appealing to either major political party. Wow.
