Try to think about what causes this behavior:Is it bad spoken grammar or just fear?
Having better grammar can help, but from your writing it seems like you're fine in that department (even better than some locals I think!).
If it is a fear that is baseless, imagine how good you would feel being more confident and try to think of the place as home. Remember, some of us like myself whose first language is English also have trouble talking in social situations - you're not alone.

Your sense of communication is pretty good. I do, however, sense a tone in your letter that you're trying to come across a little too fancy.With writing, especially this kind of writing, remember that when you're editing, whatever doesn't kill it makes it stronger.
I'd be inclined to scratch the first paragraph and start with the second. Instead of "I'm applying for a job..." (duh!), start off with "I have proven customer service skills..." It would make your letter a bit different from the other they're reading, but why not start out right from the get go by stating your qualifications. After you've told them the qualities you have, then say you're looking for a job with their company.
I also don't like starting a letter with "I'm writing today..." Anything you can put "Duh!" behind and it doesn't look out of place, cut it. Of course you're writing today. Everybody uses that as an intro, but when you look at it, those are meaningless words. Get to the meat as soon as possible.
Spell out anything below 10. " I have two and one-half years..." Better yet would be "I have more than two years experience..." Then you don't have to use clunky percentages and your paragraph will read more smoothly.
Don' start sentences without the "I am..." etc. Say "I am available..." instead of "Available..." be as efficient with your words as possible, but don't leave out the little words to make your writing more readable.
Try to rewrite in a more plain-English tone. Don't try to use big words or fancy words.

If you put it this way to the guidance counselor, I think the answer will be yes. Just explain yourself honestly.Explain that you're getting nothing out of it, and switching out of the class would give you more time to focus on subjects you are more interested in.

I believe that the best way to deal with your problem is to apply the same concept that doctors do to sick patients. Firstly, you have to identify which area are you having problem with. (ie. oral, grammar, written, spelling) When you identify the problems, you'll be more likely successful to find a solution. In identifying the problems with your language, ask help from other people, for instance you husband. There are things that we cannot see in ourselves so help from other people can contribute a lot for your development.After identifying the problems with you speaking english, the next step is to devise solutions. Find ways in order to solve it. There are many solutions to various language problems available in the internet. You can also consult the help of an expert. Remember, you have to cure your language defects one at a time. If you have identified 3 problems, and you've found multiple solutions to each of them, try solving/curing one before you solve the other one.
As they usually say, practice makes perfect. Get away from using your mother tongue and use english as frequent as possible. By the way, don't forget to tell your husband to evaluate your improvement. And ask for people to continuously monitor your improvement. You can use notes or even record your voice so you can have a comparison of your development/growth.

I am not bad at this. I have made self-improvements in this area. I have written many essays and reports this year and I avoided any plagiarism in my essays or reports. However, I still have some further improvements to make in this area.

In my English Language 1 class our lecturer explained to us how to avoid plagiarism.
Moreover, I have found a website that is called http://www.checkforplagiarism.net/ and I have read a lot of useful information about how to avoid plagiarism on this website. Thus, I have improved.
Plan (how you will improve or consolidate this skill)
Next year I will choose advanced English for Business and English Language 2 modules. These modules will be useful for me to learn how to avoid plagiarism.
• Using the Harvard System for referencing
Evaluation (your current level of skill)
I am not bad in this area. I have made improvements. I have used many references in my Marketing essays and my People and Organization essay. My lecturers did not tell me any negative things about my referencing. I achieved 55 and 60 for my referencing in marketing essay. However, I still need to improve my marks for referencing and I need to learn more things about the Harvard system for referencing.

In our business skills lecture we learned how to use the Harvard system for referencing . Also, our business skills lecturer gave us hand outs about the Harvard referencing system. I have also found useful information on http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/referencing/h… website.

I have found more articles about the Harvard system on http://libweb.anglia.ac.uk/referencing/h… website. This website will help me to learn more about Harvard referencing. Thus, next year I will receive higher marks for referencing.
