Effective Business Writing Examples
Katherine Said:
if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it thank you?We Answered:
A thesis statement is a single sentence that states a text's thesis, usually somewhere near the beginning.A topic sentence is a sentence that states the topic of its paragraph.
An explanation is a statement that makes something comprehensible by describing the relevant structure or operation or circumstances.
An illustration is material used to clarify or explain.
An example is an instance serving to illustrate a rule or precept or to act as an exercise in the application of a rule.
They must all be used in academic writing in order to state your case clearly and the lines along which you are going to argue and demonstrate you theories and to ensure that you back up any points you make.
Business writing will often have a lot less illustrations in it than academic writing as there will be less theory and more fact.
Melissa Said:
Could you look through my writing and correct my grammatical mistakes? We Answered:
Corrected and enhanced stylistically:Public relations
Public relations, also known as PR, can be defined as a practice of managing the flow of information between a business and its publics. The main purpose of public relations it to create a good public image of the company (goodwill). It is extremely important for a business which entering new market to integrate their business into the new environment and create a positive image of the company and their product and services. Good relationships with media and customers help to sell products or services and steers the business in the right direction to achieve success in the future. The department within the business which is responsible for relations with customers and the media may use number activities to promote their products and present a positive relationship or image with their customers. The Public Relations department may try to establish a visible presence at various public/private events or trade shows to promote their company. For example, most businesses like JBL, Alpine and Blaupunkt, which provide electronics solutions and car audio equipment build demo cars. These cars are intended to promote company's technology; style of tuning and solutions all of which which helps strengthen the brand image. Usually demo cars are shown at a number of car show events to create positive relations with customers and the media to demonstrate their products. This method of promotion is very effective because it demonstrate practically how good their products and solutions are. Car shows events enable everyone to have a chat about particular products and to estimate the sound quality in car audio case."
However, the piece is still quite weak with conastant repetition of 'to create positive relations with customers, media' which makes the piece boring to read. In essence the actual content of the whole paragraph above could be conveyed in about four or five lines.
Deborah Said:
WHY A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION WOULD BE AN EFFECTIVE TOOL TO REQUEST A LOAN?We Answered:
A powerpoint presentation is only a tool that outlines the information in a picture type process. You can make the presentation in any format but the powerpoint process often (if done right) will give you a more professional presentation with a forced discipline to present it with all of the information. It is more effective if presenting to more than one person than a written proposal. It also outlines the proposal and often forces you to analyze more of the data in clearer terms. So the points to make are : Presents the information in a more efficient way. Forces the presenter to explain the whole project. Gives the listener a picture of the process and the thought process especially. Can outline the risks involved. Can outline the timing of the process better. Can also outline the potential issues and how the presenter will handle the decisions that possibly need to be made.Roberto Said:
WHY A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION WOULD BE AN EFFECTIVE TOOL TO REQUEST A LOAN (at the bank or investors)? We Answered:
Here are some ideas for you to elaborate around for the essay:1. Attracting audience towards your views and arguments.
2. Provides a structure ensuring you say what you need to, in the right order and without missing anything out.
3. Provides you with visuals making figures clearer for the audience to understand and follow
4. Gives a professional and organised impression
5. Can include videoes to demonstrate things that are easier to understand by viewing rather than just explanation.
Hope this helps you get started.

How Do I Write an Effective Ad That Will Sell A Product? We Answered:
In addition to some of the suggestions here, make sure you include "a call to action" - you want the audience to do something (buy your product, use your product, use the coupon, visit your store, etc. - example: one of Nike's call to action is "Just Do It"; another example: Telus phone ad - "Talk Your Face Off. Any Time. Any 8 Friends."Good luck.
