However, the piece is still quite weak with conastant repetition of 'to create positive relations with customers, media' which makes the piece boring to read. In essence the actual content of the whole paragraph above could be conveyed in about four or five lines.

You can make the presentation in any format but the powerpoint process often (if done right) will give you a more professional presentation with a forced discipline to present it with all of the information. It is more effective if presenting to more than one person than a written proposal. It also outlines the proposal and often forces you to analyze more of the data in clearer terms. So the points to make are : Presents the information in a more efficient way. Forces the presenter to explain the whole project. Gives the listener a picture of the process and the thought process especially. Can outline the risks involved. Can outline the timing of the process better. Can also outline the potential issues and how the presenter will handle the decisions that possibly need to be made.
