I was asked to do something for my Teaching assistant course. I chose something simple, useful to all age groups and learning abilities. "How to make a sandwich"
Possible pre- & follow on lessons* where do the raw materials come from involving Primary, Secondary and tertiary industries.*Food Hygiene.* Independance and self sufficient life skills. Basically pick something you can do well yourself and then make it up as you go along.
Even state the obvious. If it is part of a teaching course then Remember to involve your pupils input not just turn it into a lecture. Remember that the majority of learners are mainly kinesthetic learners.
If you are artistic how about making simple Christmas cards.
My guess is you will be marked on your ability to communicate your ideas and knowledge etc rather than your actual choice of subject, Good luck hope this helps
