Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the industry. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

I had him prepare one for me for a business Start up and using the basic plan he prepared, I received the funds I requested from the lender. Naturally a good business plan is just part of the process but if you want it done right use a professional.
