* Because of the fast growth of the country, inflation very high. the country has been growing ~12% per yer for the past 4-5 yrs but becuse of the economic crisis it will only be growing 6% this year.

Darren Said:

Is it bad etiquette to hand write something on my business cards?

We Answered:

Absolutely not. Incomplete information is a big problem for people who have your card and try to reach you. No one would toss a box of cards just for lack of an extension number. Just make the correction neatly.

Christina Said:

Is there a proper business etiquette abbreviation for the word "attached" as written in an email?

We Answered:

No, the correct abbreviation is "att." You normally do this at the end of a formal letter, like "enc."

Since we are talking about email, why would you need to abbreviate it in the first place? It's only a difference of four characters. If typing it is a big deal, cut and paste.

Marilyn Said:

Is it etiquette to thank your boss in writing for a promotion?

We Answered:

Thank your boss in person, no note required.
Work hard and watch their back.
That really says thanks.
(Congrats)

Anne Said:

in terms of business etiquette, is it acceptable to hand-write neatly proposal addresses rather than type?

We Answered:

On a large envelope, neatly handwritten addresses are perfectly fine. A hand written address lets me know the letter is not junk mail.

Discuss It!
