Business Writing Emails

Dawn Said:

cold calling / cold introductory emails... Selling business to business... How do it?

We Answered:

The word used to describe what you intend is "SPAM" ...

The fact is, if you can't get through on the phone, chances are, they DO NOT WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU ... and whilst you may think 'persistence pays off', it could just as easily lead to that person complaining to your boss (and 'blacklisting' the Company you represent for the rest of his/her career)

If you have met the contact (or know them via some 3rd party) I suggest you try again on the phone ..

Connie Said:

What is the proper way to write your last name in business letters and emails after resuming your maiden name?

We Answered:

That would be right!
You could also write Jane Doe (f.r.o Smith) as in "finally rid off"! No, just kidding!

Lester Said:

Is there a company that writes and emails newsletters for other companies?

We Answered:

I know of one, you can email them at word.dancer@yahoo.com.

Darryl Said:

Can a seller of business pull out after he has accepted the offer in writing (email)if nothing has been sign?

We Answered:

Seller has accepted your offer and so you have an agreement. If he tries to get out of it now, he is breaking that agreement.

He is wrong, you are right. However, proving it and getting him to honour the agreement, might cost more time, effort and money than the deal is worth.
