I guess i would ask why you prefer to go to sydney.. i mean if the Adelaide course sounds more promising what is holding you back from doing that.
You could also do the degree by correspondence or open learning and then you could be located wherever you want!

Study in adelaide for 2 years, then move to sydney...thats if studying is the priority..if living in sydney is the priority then go live in sydney, in these situations u need to be selfish and do what u want how u want when u want..trust me if you dont, your dream will become a distant memory...
