My best recommendation would be to contact a number of colleges to find the best fit for you and your needs (tuition, schedule, career opportunities, etc.). Too often people enroll in the first school they find rather than taking the time to find the best school for them. Taking that time now could save you a lot of time, money and frustration if you choose the wrong school.

An average premium means nothing because there are too many variables that affect the final premium.

What type of business? (are we talking about a Hallmark card shop or a jewelry store)
What is the total value of your inventory?
Do you own the building you occupy?
Are there other occupants in the building?
Do you have any other locations?
What are the total annual sales of your business?
Do you have employees? (i.e. Workers compensation insurance)
Do you plan on providing health insurance benefits for employees?
Will your business need to deliver the products you sell, such as furniture, that might require one or more delivery trucks?

Can't really give you even an educated guess without some information about your business. Kind of like asking what is the average cost of insuring a 2004 Chevrolet Impala, because the individual circumstances vary significantly the answer you get is meaningless.

In my opinion, YES! I just started at the University of Phoenix online about a month ago. I'm a stay at home Marine wife, and I needed something to keep me busy since I cant work right now. I'm a hands on learner, and can't stand being lectured by instructors, it goes in one ear and out the other! I was very hesitant about online classes, but omg am I loving it! You're right about it being straight forward. For me, I take 2 classes every 9 weeks, so it sounds like a lot, but it's not. And the cool thing is, you can do it at any time, at your own pace.

I enjoy it a lot. Theres different guidelines, like you have to check in 3 times a week, respond to other students blogs so many times a week. I thought it was going to be a pain! but it's not, honestly. I would never go back to a regular campus! Good luck to you, and I hope I helped!
