I think this is sooooo wrong I would be fuming, I always choose direct flights, I would definitely try for some sort of compensation because non direct flights tend to be cheaper any way

Honestly, I think SAT scores can be completely looked over if you have other items, such as GPA and extracurriculars to shadow it.

I had BELOW the required ACT score for one of my more competitive college possibilities, Tulane University, but I had a high GPA and an extensive resume, and I still was accepted.

I think with your resume and GPA, you'll get into whichever colleges deserve you. And if you don't get into your top choice, that just means it wasn't meant to be.

His grandfather hooked him up with the guy. The grandfather had met him through Unitarian Church contacts. The church that the family had attended when they lived in Bellevue, WA, was known as "The Little Red Church" because of its associations with communists.
Davis is said to have gotten Obama set up with people back in Chicago when he moved there.
The Woods Fund was founded by the owners of the coal company that supplied the major electric company in Chicago, owned by Bill Ayers father. They hired Obama according to The Nation magazine.

The single biggest missing link is the Chicago Annenberg challenge records to which journalists have been denied access by the Univ. of Illinois in Chicago where Bill Ayers is a professor.
In early 1995 Barack Obama was named chairman of the board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. Ayers was named co-chair of the Challenge's operative and strategic body, the Chicago School Reform Collaborative. They received $50 million in grant money from Annenberg.
Ayers and Obama worked together for the next five years on raising an additional $60 million in matching money from local foundations and corporations and using the money to intervene in the governance of the Chicago public schools.
Their conclusion in a 250 page 2003 report was that the money had no impact at all.
Of course, Obama said he "barely knew" Ayers, didn't he????
