Be sure to use spell check and grammar check before submitting a resume. I've moved the experience section higher on your resume because it's more of a selling point than the rest. Look at the job requirements in the job posting and see how your experience/skills fit those needs. Focus on those in order to get hired.

Gina Said:

Could you correct my CV, please?

We Answered:

this does not make it clear which job you are expecting.
are these job duties you are experienced then it would be better if you include organization list under which the duties you performed should be listed according to your importance of jobs.
if you are giving only your knowledge about the jobs make headings , classify them according to the importance and expertise .
think about the best job you are looking for and the duties you would like then it will be easy for you.
secondly if you are making the cv for a specific organization then first find out what kind of job exactly is being offered that will make your cv to the point and relevant.

Please help me correct the grammar in my autobiography!!!?

We Answered:

Your English isn't that bad! Good work. Here are my suggestions:

It’s a pleasure to introduce myself. My name is OOO and I am from OOO. There are OOO members in my family and I am the eldest daughter.

I majored in Department of OOO in OOO University and now major in Department of OOO in OOO University. My studies in the area of business and administration correspond with my future career goals. While studying, I have worked to improve my English abilities continuously through several courses such as: Business English, Applied English, and Financial and Economic English. In addition, I have also learned a second foreign language, Japanese, in my free time. By learning different languages, I feel that I have gained a better understanding of different cultures and have become a more tolerant person.

At present, I have received a grade of OOO on the TOEIC exam (August 2006) and passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test at Level 2 (December 2006). I hope that my skills will assist me in the job market.

During my leisure hours in the university, I participated successfully in club activities and learned many new skills such as activity planning, activity execution, group cooperation, and communication skills. Moreover, I realized that time management is a vitally important skill for balancing studies and extracurricular activities.

In June of this year, I will graduate from OOO University. Although I have little work experience, I intend to do my best to learn quickly and perform well in my job. I look forward to speaking with you further and hope that you will grant me the opportunity to have an interview with you. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
OOO

Are novels still popular or old fashioned?

We Answered:

Novels are popular, nonfiction books are popular. Short stories are less frequent these days. Check the NY Times best seller lists.
To write well takes a number of years, likely, writing and learning to write.
To pubish is challenging. To publish a novel is quite challenging. Because publishers publish only those they figure will do very well, that is make money for the publilsher, more than the cost of publishing them. And most people that write novels don't really know what they are doing or haven't developed the necessary skills to a professional level.
Best sellers are rare, like winning the lottery. Furthermore, it is hard making a living as a writer. One practical way to make a living is to do business writing freelance ( http://www.bly.com/new/index.html ). This of course is not as glamorous as writing fiction.
On the other hand, some people make money writing an online Blog. Or, in other wys on the internet. Self-publishing, also, is a lot easier and cheaper than in the past (for example, see http://outskirtspress.com/compare.html ).
Also as a life long writer (as well as watercolor artist) that hasn't been published much I can truthfully say all my efforts at learning to write well have been helpful to me in getting jobs, in doing well in a job, and just plain enjoying it. If you learn to write well, really well, you will never be sorry.
If you want to, go for it, but work hard, figure out how to learn the quickest, most efficient, and, yes, cheapest way. Then don't stop. Figure on working at some other job for quite a few years. Keep your "head out of the clouds," that is don't depend on making it big and soon. That's just foolish. But if you don't quit, you can make it. But ultimately you'll have to decide what "making it" really means.

Laura Said:

How should I modify my resume?

We Answered:

write your resume so that it is about what you have achieved.
do not write it so that it is about how much time you spent in a place.
in other words, write about the quality of what you have done and not the quantity.

Dear Sir or Madam;

Re: MSP Account No. 999999999

Please accept this letter and the attached documentation as application for Regular Premium Assistance.

You will notice on the application form that my husbands signature has not been provided. At present, he is residing in China, as he is not yet a landed immigrant. At this time I am unable to obtain his signature, and hope that you will take this into consideration.

Due to my lack of income, is it possible for me to obtain a refund of the Medical Insurance premiums I have paid for the past 12 months? My records indicate that from 2007.05.01 to 2008.04.30, I paid a total of $______(fill in the blank and do not underline the amount). Is the BC Ministry of Health able to refund these payments once my entitlement has been established?

Your attention to these matters is greatly appreciated and I look forward to your reply.

Yours truly,
