Business Email Writing Skills
Samantha Said:
what do you think of my professional email? (help make it better)? We Answered:
Great start! I would add something like, I look forward to the opportunity of interviewing with your company. And I would say a little bit more about yourself. What kind of person you are and what goals you would like to obtain by working with the company.Vicki Said:
What kind of jobs can I expect to get? (resume inside) 10 pts for best answer!?We Answered:
You have some of the basicsNow you need some serious training and to do something that makes you stand out. Just high school does not cut it today.
Depending on your financial situation and location you can
Go in the military, and earn enough money to afford your degree. Having a Honorable Discharge from the military is a great thing to have on a resume, as it shows many things to an employer, such as maturity, discipline, and willingness to make a commitment. Following a successful military hitch with a 4 year degree REALLY shows them something.
If you can afford it go to College and earn a 4 year degree
If money is an issue go to a community college and get the pre-reqs out of the way, then transfer to a 4 years school for the final work
In any case - go to school.
You do not have enough training to compete in the market today, and will be run over by the college students fighting for the few jobs there are. Employers know that there are a lot of people out there looking for work, and are picky as hell.
With any luck, 4 years from now will be a far better economy in which to start a career
Best of luck
You have a good start

got this email awhile ago should I respond? We Answered:
Sometimes messages like this can come from Linked-In or other places where you might have information about your work skills, job history and career posted. These services collect and post information about you, even when you don't put it up yourself. This is likely a scam of some kind. However, you might call to check to see if this is a recruiting firm that is going through profiles on-line. In any case, be on your guard for "fees" or other catches.
